Reiki is always evolving as the Reiki Community has clearly seen since Dr. Usui first brought Reiki, Palm Healing, into the limelight in Japan, 1923. Before Dr. Usui’s passing in 1926, he asked Dr. Hayashi, a medical Navy Doctor, to open his own clinic and to expand Reiki with his medical experience. He was credited with further developing additional hand positions to more thoroughly cover the body which is called Hands-on-Healing. In 1935, Mrs. Takata, a Japanese American, traveled from Hawaii to Tokyo where she was healed and trained by Dr. Hayashi to Reiki I/II. She returned to Hawaii where Dr. Hayashi continued her training to become a Reiki Master (1938). Mrs. Takata is the key person who brought Reiki to the USA in 1938. There are now around 30 forms of Reiki from Jikiden Reiki, Rainbow Usui/Tibetan Reiki to Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki.
I practice and follow the guidelines of ‘Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki.’ (Christ Consciousness Reiki) Learn more about Reiki here.
Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Healing Sessions are either In-Person or Remote (distant).
FYI: The Reiki Room should have a chair or massage table with soft soothing music and/or Essential Oils Mister including the Reiki Practitioner’s Certification Certificate signed by his/her Reiki Master / Teacher visually on the wall or available upon your request. note: the Certificate should also be associated to a particular organization or association with its Seal and President’s signature. A few are <reiki.org>, <reikiassociation.com> and <iarp.org>.
What to Expect: Before your first Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Session, the Reiki Practitioner, will need your health history and signed Release Form. Then the Practitioner will listen to your concerns for either a particular goal or need to release from a past trauma. This is called your Intention Prayer that is spoken to God before the start of your Usui/Holy Fire® IIIReiki Session.
The Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Session can include Sound Healing, Essential Oils Aroma Therapy, a Guided Mediation Journey and/or Reiki Session. During your Reiki Session, you remain fully clothed while laying comfortably on a massage table and covered by a sheet or blanket.
At the beginning and as guided, the Practitioner can scan your body to sense where additional Healing is needed. After this brief scan, the Practitioner’s Hands begins the Laying-of-Hands method by placing near or lightly touching various parts of the body, including areas around the head, shoulders, stomach, legs, and feet. Most patients report feelings of relaxation, and patients often fall asleep during a session. The Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Healing Session can last from ten minutes to more than an hour, depending upon available time.
In closing – we will have another opportunity to share what we experience during your Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Healing Session. At this time, you may ask any questions that would further assist you on your Healing Journey.
